Most college athletes eat, sleep and breath their sport. They have worked hard to be able to compete in their sport at a college level, and many have received scholarships for their hard work and talent. Endless hours of training and practice consume a college athlete’s life. So, why would one such athlete give up his last chance to enjoy the sport he loves, and in his senior year no less? To save someone else’s life.

Hockey players are notorious for getting in fights and getting injured. So, I’ve dug up a list of professional hockey players, who sustained injuries off the ice, instead of on.
Originally, the 2013 Missoula Pond Hockey Tournament was scheduled for January 26-27, but due to dissatisfactory weather that could impact ice conditions on our rinks, we have changed the date for our tournament to February 2-3.
