ANTIOCH, Tenn. (UPDATE 4:35 p.m.) — A man says he has no idea why he and six others were attacked inside a movie theater by a man wielding a hatchet and a gun.
A federal magistrate entered not guilty pleas on 33 federal charges, including for hate crimes, for a white man accused of gunning down nine parishioners at a black church in Charleston.
A gunman opened fire Thursday morning at two military recruiting centers in Chattanooga, Tennessee, killing four Marines before police shot and killed the alleged shooter. The names of those involved have not been released at this time.
