Hundreds Turn Out To Search For Sidney Teacher

Hundreds of people are assisting in the search for a Sidney High School teacher who did not return home after going for a jog.

43-year-old Sherry Arnold was last seen at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

More than 200 people participated in the initial search Saturday, finding a shoe believed to belong to Arnold near one of her regular jogging routes

Soldier Killed In Montana Parachute Accident ID’d

Military officials have released the name of a soldier who died in a parachute accident at Fort Harrison near Helena.

The Department of Defense identified the soldier Tuesday as Sgt. Francis Campion, of Hollidaysburg, Pa. Campion was a member of the 2nd Battalion 19th Special Forces Group, West Virginia Army National Guard.

Guardsmen Won’t Be Called Up For Sandbagging

Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer says he won't call up the Montana National Guard to fill sandbags and do other chores that local communities should be able to do on their own.

And he says he doesn't want to keep 98 soldiers on duty guarding closed or dangerous roads for much longer.
