County Commissioners Will Examine Lovaas’ Election Fraud Charges

Local CPA Patty Lovaas appeared on Talkback several weeks ago to talk about research she had done that indicated possible foul play involved with the recent High School mill levy election. Missoula County Commissioners Districts To Be Redrawn

Missoula County Commissioner districts will be examined and redrawn based on the results of the 2010 Census. In accordance with Montana Code Annotated 7-4-2102, “following each federal decennial census, the board of county commissioners shall divide their respective counties into as many commissioner districts as there are county commissioners and ensure that the districts are as compact and equal in population and area as possible.” I spoke with County Commissioner Bill Carey about the project on Monday afternoon. Bonner-Milltown Community Council Looks For New Member

Due to a resignation on the Bonner-Milltown community council, the Missoula County Commissioners will appoint a new member. The council acts as a liaison between the citizens of Bonner-Milltown and the board of county commissioners, and provides information deemed useful, beneficial and helpful to the BCC in making decisions which affect the Bonner-Milltown community

The Megaload Story Does Not End With Tuesday’s Court Decision

Montana Judge Ray Dayton's decision on Tuesday will keep any mega-load shipments from traveling over Highways 12 and 200 towards the tar sands oil fields in Canada anytime soon. Judge Ray Dayton dismissed a claim yesterday that Montana transportation officials violated the state constitution when they approved an oil company's plans to haul oversized refinery equipment through Montana to Canada's oil sands.
