UPDATE : 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 9. The Missoula City Police Department has asked the State of Montana Office of Criminal Investigations to look into the incident in which former Missoula County Attorney Fred Van Valkenburg removed items from a secure storage facility.
When Cody Marble was 17 years old, he was charged with raping a 13 year-old boy in the juvenile wing of the Missoula County Jail. He was convicted of sexual intercourse without consent in 2002, and sent to prison, all the while proclaiming his innocence.
