The Montana legislature has mandated new immunization requirements for school children. In order to help students receive the immunization, the Missoula City-County Health Department outpatient clinic is offering extended hours and a Saturday clinic.
Missoula schools will be opening for fall classes this week, and the Missoula City County Health Department wants parents to know their children must be properly immunized before being allowed to attend classes.
Missoula County Public Schools will sponsor an early childhood screening for pre-kindergarten children birth to age 5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, at Jefferson School, 1700 South Avenue West, in Missoula.
