After weeks of gas prices under the $3.00 mark the Montana average jumped a mere seven-tenths of a cent and back over that precious three dollar threshold.
Over the past week, Montana's gas prices dropped a little over three cents per gallon. That's the good news for motorists. The bad news is that gas prices typically reach their lowest point between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the price of oil has been moving up closing in on $90 a barrel.
Montana's prices rose another two cents over the last week, bringing the average price in the State to $3.77 per gallon. But things are looking up nationally.
