Felony Burglary

There was very little for Casey Heavyrunner to be thankful for on Thanksgiving morning, having been shot in the face after allegedly breaking into a friend's home and assaulting him with a knife.

Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst released the following statement regarding the weekend arrests of three UM football players and two other individuals on charges of felony burglary.

The Missoula County Jail is listing two starters on the University of Montana football team who are being held on felony burglary charges, while a third has already posted bond. All three have been suspended from the team, according to UM Athletic Director Kent Haslam.

On Friday, August 14, 24 year-old Everett Neuhaus allegedly crawled through a window into a residence on 23rd Avenue in Missoula, and confronted his former girlfriend, who was with another man.

In two separate cases before Judge Karen Orzech in Missoula Justice Court on Monday, two women were charged with felony assault, one with a baseball bat against a former boyfriend.
