Suspicious Package Intercepted By Bomb Squad Downtown

A suspicious package was intercepted and disabled by the Missoula Police Department Bomb Squad Thursday afternoon near the Federal Building at Broadway and Pattee. I spoke with Sergeant Ed Gydas about the incident that ended just after 4 o'clock. That intervew is attached.

No one was injured, and Gydas estimates that some downtown streets and businesses adjacent to the Federal building were blocked off for about two hours.
