Police are still looking for two men who attempted a robbery in downtown Missoula on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Missoula Police Department Public Information Officer Travis Welsh, the victim was walking out of a business with a bank bag when two men approached him.

"One of them, actually engaged in a conversation and it appears now that was perhaps a distraction," Welsh said. "The other male approached and tried to grab the bank bag out of his hands. According to the victim, he was able to hang on to the bag and wrestle it out of the hands of the other suspect."

The victim was not injured, and the two men have not yet been identified.

"They were both Native American males, they appeared to be transients, and were between 5'8 to 6 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes," Welsh said.
