Sportsmen’s Groups Call The Continuing Budget Resolution Butchery Not Surgery
With the U.S. House of Representatives and the United States Senate set to act on funding to continue running government for fiscal year 2011, questions have arisen from many sectors. The discussion on cutting billions of dollars out of the continuing resolution circles around health care. No program is safe from the budget axe. Sportsmen’s groups in Montana believe a more surgical approach should be taken in budget matters. Montana Wildlife Federation spokesman Ben Lamb says congress should lose the slaughterhouse mentality.
The Federal Deficit has ballooned over the course of the last 2 years. Many view the country’s situation as dire, as social programs, foreign aide, and military actions continue to hemorrhage the nations’ economic life’s blood.
