Ron LeFlore

Age: 64

Profession: Retired MLB Player

Best Known For: An American League All-Star in 1976, Ron LeFlore was a solid center fielder for the Detroit Tigers, Montreal Expos and Chicago White Sox from 1974 to 1982.

Le Flore’s life was the subject of the made-for-TV movie ‘One in a Million: The Ron LeFlore Story,’ which chronicled his ascent to the major leagues after being an inmate at the Jackson State Penitentiary in Michigan. LeFlore finished his career with 455 stolen bases.

Roberto Durán

Age: 61

Profession: Retired Boxer

Best Known For:  Regarded by many to be one of the best boxers of all-time, Panamanian fighter Roberto Duran held world titles at four different weight classes : lightweight, welterweight, light middleweight and middleweight. Duran and Jack Johnson are the only boxers to have fought in a span of five decades. Despite a career record of 103-16, Duran’s most famous fight may have been a loss. After defeating Ray Leonard via 15-round unanimous decision in June of 1980, he quit in their November rematch, uttering the phrase ‘No Mas.’  Many sports fans know Duran by his spanish nickname ‘Manos de Piedra’ – Hands of Stone.

Phil Mickelson

Age: 42

Profession: PGA Golfer

Best Known For: Phil Mickelson is among the best golfers in the world. He has won four major championships and a total of 40 PGA Tour titles. Nicknamed “Lefty” for his left-handed swing, Mickelson was elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame in November 2011. He won the 1992 NCAA Division I Championship while at Arizona State.

Kerry Wood

Age: 35

Profession: Retired MLB Player

Best Known For: The National League Rookie of the Year in 1998, Kerry Wood was a hard-throwing pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees throughout his career from 1998 to 2012. A two-time all-star, Wood shares the MLB record of most strikeouts recorded in a nine-inning game with 20 against the Houston Astros on May 6, 1998. Wood retired from baseball on May 18, 2012.

Dainius Zubrus

Age: 34

Profession: NHL Player

Best Known For: Lithuanian ice hockey player Dainius Zubrus is a right wing for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. His career has stretched from 1996 to 2012, as he has accumulated 539 points while playing for the Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals, Buffalo Sabres and the Devils.
