Social Program Cuts Have Many Concerned

There are 60,800 low-income children in Montana who depend on Medicaid for their health care. Proposed cutbacks in congress threaten Montana’s seniors. The budget plan now in the house would begin on October 1^st  for fiscal year 2012. Geraldine Henrich-Koenis explains Families USA analysis of the House Republican Budget that also substantially increases income taxes for middle income families. The bill would eliminate tax credits scheduled to go into effect in 2014.
