So, How Is Your Christmas Shopping Going?

Lucky me...I had the day off on Black Friday, but I slept through the early-bird

specials. Lorna and I hit the stores on Saturday, and found fair to middling crowds. One chain sporting goods store had so many employees waiting at the front door, they practically carried us to where we wanted to go!

Our kids are grown, so their gifts are a bit more expensive now...they'll each get one pretty nice gift this year...that's all we can do. The bargains are still out there, just don't ignore our smaller local merchants..they need our business more than ever! Happy consuming...and be sure to say 'Merry Christmas' to all the clerks!
