It's been fairly dry and warm recently, but according to National Weather Service Meteorologist Luke Robinson, there's a lot of snow in the forecast for the third full week of February.

"We'll have a storm system moving in Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 18) with some light moisture, but then Tuesday night into Wednesday morning some very heavy moisture will be moving in. We'll be getting several inches of snow in the mountains, we'll probably be measuring them in feet, and then some light snow in the valleys."

Things should get colder too.

"Later this week closer to the weekend we are expecting colder air to be moving in and we'll probably be having highs in the upper twenties," Robinson said.

Robinson also said that it is highly unlikely that we dip back down to below zero temperatures again this winter.
