The Missoula City Council will put $7,000 towards the funding of a new sexual assault prevention program. City Councilor Caitlin Copple says the new campaign will work in concert with the city's 'It's Your Call' program that encourages sexual assault victims to call 9-1-1 immediately for help.

Copple says the program will raise awareness about how to prevent sexual assault, and she hopes that men will also reach out to other men, encouraging them not to engage in behavior that will demean or harm women. The full city council will consider the program's funding at Monday night's meeting when they discuss the yearly budget.
