The Department of Counselor Education at the University of Montana educates students for employment in school and human service settings.  Rita Sopmmers-Flanagan, a clinical psychologist and professor, chairs the department.

Rita's experience as an educator and a professional has brought her into close contact with sexual assault issues.  In today's program she talks about the how our culture contributes to feelings of shame and blame that victims often direct at themselves.  Listen here...
