Senators Push For More Transparency

Senators Anders Blewett and Kendall Van Dyk introduced legislation, Tuesday, requiring Montana lawmakers to publicly disclose whether they receive government- subsidized health care from the State. Senator Van Dyk says the bill will increase transparency and accountability to the legislative branch.

 Members of the legislature are eligible for the state health insurance plan, the same as other state employees.
