Many Missoulians received an emergency services call on Wednesday morning, January 20, asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing boy. The story has a positive ending though, as the boy was discovered within half an hour from the time the call went out.

"This morning we had a report of a 9-year-old boy who was supposed to walk to school, he attends Franklin School," said Missoula Police Spokesman Travis Welsh. "Apparently he did leave and go to school, but he never arrived. He has blonde shaggy hair, blue eyes, and he has been diagnosed with autism. We are looking for the public's help in spotting him and getting him to a safe place."

The situation was resolved by 9:50, the initial call went out around 9: 40.
