Airport Director Cris Jensen announced today that United Airlines has expanded their direct service from Missoula International Airport (MSO) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Beginning in 2010, United has offered one nonstop daily flight from Missoula to San Francisco during the summer months. The once daily direct seasonal service resumes in June, 2012, and will increase to twice daily direct service in July and August, 2012.

Four airlines, Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, and United, have operations at Missoula International Airport. Nonstop flights are offered to eleven major markets (Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Oakland, Phoenix-Mesa, Portland,
