Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Creates Elk Hunting App

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation recently released an application for certain cellphones and tablets that will allow users to see an Elk’s internal organ structure and to judge at which angles a bullet traveling through an elk will result in a kill.
“It’s kind of sleek looking,” says Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Public Relations Director Mark Holyoak, “but it is not a game. We need to clarify that it is an app. The bottom line is we are all about fair chase and being ethical hunters and this app provides hunters the opportunity to make a better ethical shot. No one likes to shoot an animal and see it keep running and running and running.”
