Rocky Mountain College football coach Brian Armstrong recently announced the signing of six recruits.

The in-state recruits include defensive lineman Austin Chamberlain of Helena High, lineman Seth Swandal of Shields Valley and running backs Jade Olson of Malta and Zach Salvat of Joliet.

Other recruits include defensive back Birney Brayton of Sheridan, Wyo.; defensive end Eli Moody of Lovell, Wyo.; quarterback Jacob Sommer of Puyallup (pew-AL'-up), Wash.; and safety Christian Dearborn of Moorpark, Calif.

Carroll College football coach Mike Van Diest has announced the signing of two recruits from Pocatello, Idaho.

Century High School wide receiver Jonah Heyneman and Pocatello High kicker and punter Scott Lyons signed letters of intent to join the Fighting Saints in the fall.

Heyneman led Century High in receptions, yards and touchdowns as a senior.

Van Diest says Lyons will compete for the place kicking job this fall.

He had a career-long 56-yard field goal as a junior.
