Former University of Montana running back Chase Reynolds has experienced quite the roller-coaster ride over the past few weeks.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks, Reynolds was released by the team after one preseason game.

However, the Seahawks' arch-rivals, the St. Louis Rams, scooped up Reynolds a few days later. Following the conclusion of the preseason, Reynolds was one of 8 players the Rams signed to their practice squad.

Seven days ago, the Rams released Reynolds from the practice squad, and things looked bleak. On Monday night, though, KPAX television's Shane Ewing reported that Reynolds had a tryout scheduled for Tuesday morning with the Tennessee Titans. Marc Mariani, Reynolds' former teammate at Montana, returns kicks and punts for the Titans.

After an encouraging workout this morning, the team decided to pass on Reynolds, though, and it appeared that he was back at square one. But, Missoulian sports writer Fritz Neighbor reported that the Rams re-signed Reynolds to the practice squad a few hours ago.

The player St. Louis had originally replaced Reynolds with, Quinn Porter, was recently promoted from the practice squad to the 53-player active roster.
