Ravalli County Commissioner Debate

Today on the October 9 episode of the Talk Back Show, we will be featuring a debate between incumbent Ravalli County Commissioner Gregg Chilcott (R) and challenging candidate Big Dave Smith (D).
Due to the debate format, we are asking callers to ask questions that both of the candidates can answer. At the start of the show, both candidates will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss the issues they see as most important this election year.

The job of county commissioner includes many facets, such as:
- Approval/Denial of Subdivisions
- Issuing Ordinances
- Adopting Resolutions
- Administering County Contracts & Policies
- Maintaining County Infrastructure such as Fairgrounds, Roads, Bridges & Airport
- Responsible for County budget
