A mild earthquake rattled Western Montana just before noon on Friday. Director of Earthquake Studies at the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology in Butte, Mike Stickney has the details of the temblor. My interview with Professor Stickney is attached.

Stickney says no damage has been reported, although the quake was felt in a wide area. The quake's epicenter was just a few miles from Clinton. He says there's no way to tell if, or when, the next earthquake might hit the area.
