The Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range mustang herd will most likely be undergoing major changes soon. The Buereau of Land Managment recently revealed plans to reduce the size of the heard by at least 50 horses because of the risk of overgrazing. Public Affairs Specialist for the BLM, Kristin Lenhardt spoke with KGVO News about the planned reduction.

The horses which are to be rounded up will be put up for adoption and will range in age from 1 to 3 years. If you want more information, the BLM has published  a full environmental survey. The plan is open for public response for the next 30 days.
