Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks changed the location of tomorrow’s hearing on a proposal to modify boating regulations on several stretches of river near Missoula. The meeting, originally set to be held at the Missoula FWP office, will now be at the Quality Inn (3803 Brooks Street), beginning Thursday night at 6 p.m. Public Affairs Officer Vivica Crowser says the proposed changes up for discussion and comment at the hearing are designed to address public safety concerns and social conflicts on the Clark Fork and Bitterroot Rivers in the Missoula vicinity and a few outdated regulations pertaining to the Milltown area.

One item proposed is no motorized use on the Clark Fork River from East Missoula to the confluence with the Bitterroot.
