There was an abundant amount of snow pack over the winter season in Montana. This means there is potential for flooding. The National Weather Service expects streams and rivers throughout Montana to have high water. Snow fall is 109 to 130 percent  above average.  Director of Emergency Services for Missoula county, Chris Lowensburry says predictions right now show Missoula running  at “bank full” in the valley.

Lowensburry says to report any instance of rising or  high-water to 911.
