Population Decline is the Solution, says Filmmaker

Today's Talk Back guest argues that humankind is suffering from an insatiable need for growth. Documentary filmmaker Dave Gardner isn't afraid to take on a variety of touchy subjects and says we're attached to "superstitions and addictions" that we need to leave behind in order to have a sustainable society.

Gardner promises to challenge the assumptions of "economists, developers, the Pope, politicians, octomoms, wealthy capitalists, environmentalists, people who leave the lights on, and well . . . pretty much anybody."
