Police Chief Wants Both Sides Of The Story
I spoke with Missoula Chief of Police Mark Muir Thursday afternoon about the arrest of two University of Montana football players early Sunday morning. Chief Muir told me he is waiting for witnesses to step forward and share any video or audio evidence that may shed light on the case, but that no one has yet done so. He also spoke about comments made by the players’ defense attorney, and a comment by the Missoulian that he says is inaccurate. That interview is attached.
Trial for the two athletes is scheduled for February. Both Gerald Kemp and
Trumaine Johnson have pleaded not guilty to all charges.
