Peggy Kuhr Named Vice President For Integrated Communications at University of Montana [AUDIO]

After a nationwide search, University of Montana President Royce Engstrom has hired Peggy Kuhr as the University’s vice president for integrated communication.

Kuhr was appointed interim vice president in August 2012. Before this appointment, she served as dean of the School of Journalism beginning in August 2007. She had a 26-year career in newspapers before joining the University of Kansas in 2002 as Knight Chair on the Press, Leadership and Community.

She will officially take up the position, minus the interim title, on January 15.
