Earlier today, Missoula County Attorney Fred Van Valkenburg revealed the results of his examination of evidence provided by local CPA Patty Lovaas regarding potential fraud in the recent mill levy election. Van Valkenburg says he found no evidence of deliberate wrongdoing after receiving the results of the Missoula County Sheriff's Department investigation. I spoke with Ms Lovaas Tuesday morning and got her reaction to the County Attorney's report. That interview is attached.

Lovaas has file a civil suit against the County Commissioners, and District Judge Ed McLean will hear the case, though a court date has not been set.
