On Saturday, May 31, over 100 women gathered for the third annual "Babes N' Bullets" event to raise money for "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" at the Deer Creek Shooting Range.

Ryan Corwin, Advertising and Marketing Director for Bob Wards in Missoula said they maxed out the event with 100 women.

"We had a sold-out crowd of 100 women at Babes N' Bullets, out for our women-only shooting event and it's all for the "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" of Montana in their fight against breast cancer," Corwin said. "We brought the women out to the Deer Creek Shooting Range on two luxury Beachliners.. actually, they were yellow school buses, but we had fun anyway."

"We went through seven stations, everything from self defense to pepper spray, and all the way to pistols, rifles and shotguns," he said. "Vendors, factory reps and Bob Ward staff were there to train those who didn't know how to use the firearms. Then, we bused  back to the Holiday Inn where we had an after-party with a raffle, auction and drinks and it was a great time."

Corwin said those who attended were generous in their support of breast cancer research.

"Each ticket to attend was $100, and with ticket sales alone we raised over $10,000," Corwin said. "Then, at the after-party, we raised another almost $4,000. All the money went to "Tough Enough to Wear Pink Montana" for breast cancer awareness and  research."

Corwin said the date for next year's event has not yet been sent, but as soon as that decision is made, it will be publicized on the Bob Ward's website.
