One Retirement – Several Promotions in Missoula County Sheriff’s Department [AUDIO]

On March 1, Captain of Detectives Rich Maricelli will retire from the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department, and that opens the door for others to be promoted.
Sheriff’s department spokesman Jason Johnson says Undersheriff Mike Dominick will be promoted to Captain of Detectives, which will allow Captain Josh Clark to become the new Undersheriff.
Patrol Captain Brad Giffin will then be promoted to Captain of Professional Standards and Patrol Lieutenant Rob Taylor will become the Captain of Uniformed Patrol.
Maricelli has served the department is several capacities for the last 22 years, and has received numerous awards and recognitions during his career, including being names the 2011 Top Cop in a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
