The Trischman Fire in Yellowstone National Park’s south central region was declared 100 percent contained today. Park spokesman Al Nash says  the fire was discovered over the weekend, south-west of  Old Faithful.

Nash says there are several fires that are actively burning in the park, the largest being the point fire at 11-hundred acres in size..

Other than limited temporary closures of some backcountry campsites and hiking trails, all park entrances, roads and services are open.
