One Dead, One Critical After Two-Vehicle Crash Near Hamilton

One man was killed and another seriously injured just before 7 o’clock Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident on U. S. Highway 93 near Hamilton. According to a Montana Highway Patrol Dispatcher and Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman, the driver of the first vehicle, a pickup truck, lost control and crashed head-on into the second vehicle, also a pickup. The 53 year-old man driving the first truck was killed at the scene, while the second driver was transported via life-flight to a Missoula hospital.

No names have yet been released, and the Montana Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
