Yellowstone County sheriff’s deputies have identified a person of interest in a man’s shooting death in Lockwood, just east of Billings.

Montana law enforcement agencies have been advised to be on the lookout for 27-year-old Martin Bouwkamp, who also uses the last name Pond. He is a white man who is 5 feet, 11 inches tall with brown hair, blue eyes and a medium build. He may be driving a 1999 white Dodge Caravan or a 2002 gray Honda Odyssey and officials say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Sheriff Mike Linder says the death at about 4:20 yesterday morning is being investigated as a homicide. He would not identify the victim because family members were still being notified.
