NEW YORK (AP) — A day before the vice presidential debate the guest list for moderator Martha Raddatz's 1991 wedding has become an issue. That's because the list included Harvard Law School student and future president Barack Obama.

Raddatz's employer, ABC News, calls it "silly" for The Daily Caller website to question whether Raddatz's role in the Thursday debate represents a bias. ABC sought to beat the conservative website to the punch by confirming that Obama attended Raddatz's wedding to current Federal Communications Commission chief Julius Genachowski. The couple divorced in 1997.

Also, the presidential debate commission says it has no problem with Raddatz moderating the debate between Democrat Vice President Joe Biden and Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan.
