Northern Women’s Hoops Signs Butte Central Guard

HAVRE, Mont. (AP) — Montana State-Northern women’s basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing of guard Kacie McKeon of Butte Central.

McKeon helped lead the Maroons to a 2011 state Class A title and a runner-up finish in 2012. She averaged 13.4 points per game, earning all-state honors.

Mouat says McKeon has a great shooting touch and is capable of stretching defenses because of her 3-point shot.

McKeon set Butte Central records for 89 steals this season and tied school records with seven 3-pointers in a game and 62 in a season.
