Glacier National Park can’t seem to catch a break from this fire season. On Sunday evening, Public Information Officer Katie Liming says the park was notified of a new blaze.

"The fire was reported around 1:30 pm, and is estimated to be about 150 to 200 acres in size," Liming said. "It's near the Thompson Creek Drainage which is kind of near the Nyack area on the east side of the park."

The Park website says the fire isn’t effecting Glacier all that much.

"It is kind of back woods, rugged terrain area, the cause is definitely still under investigation," Liming said.

Along with the Reynold’s creek fire and now the Thompson Fire, the Three Sisters fire is edging out of the North Fork area towards Glacier. If it crosses the border, that would make three simultaneous fires burning in the park.
