MSU Women’s Hoops Signs Washington Guard

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Montana State women's basketball coach Tricia Binford has announced the signing of 5-foot-8 guard Margreet Barhoum (BAR'-hoom) of Edmonds, Wash.

Barhoum averaged 21.3 points, 4.5 assists and four steals per game as a senior at Meadowdale High School, earning honorable mention all-state honors. She averaged 22.5 points per game as a junior. Meadowdale posted a 60-37 record during Barhoum's four years in high school.

She also played AAU basketball for the Vancouver, Wash.-based Columbia Cascades.

Binford says Barhoum is an outstanding competitor, a fantastic 3-point shooter and can get to the basket.

Binford says she expects to sign one more player this spring.
