MSU Women’s Basketball Scoops Up Local Player

Bozeman High center Lexi Dawkins has made a verbal commitment to play basketball at Montana State.

Dawkins says she chose MSU over Montana, Utah State, Portland and Gonzaga. She can sign with the Bobcats in November.

Dawkins started as a freshman at Bozeman, but saw limited time as a sophomore due to a knee injury. She was a second team all-Eastern AA player last season after averaging eight points per game. She also plays for the Montana Hoops AAU team.
