BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Montana State men's basketball coach Brad Huse has announced the signing of 6-foot-8 forward Danny Robison of Billings West.

Robison averaged 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game as a senior and was named the Gatorade basketball player of the year for Montana. Robison had 19 points and seven rebounds in the Class AA state championship game, earning tournament MVP honors.

Huse says Robison brings skill, intelligence and toughness to the program and understands what it takes to win.

Robison's older brother Shane, played tight end for the Bobcat football team while his sister Shadra played basketball at Montana.

Huse said he expects to sign at least one more player during the spring signing period.
