Steve Daines, the Republican candidate for Montana's U.S. House Seat, has been invited to speak at the Republican National Convention in Florida on Monday evening.

Daines says the speech is "a chance to highlight some of the candidates that are running in 2012, some of the new faces that will be serving in congress." Daines says he will focus his speech on "the direction this country needs to head to get this economy back on track."

Montana's Secretary of Public Instruction, Denise Juneau has been asked to speak at the Democratic National Convention as has former Secretary of Public Instruction, Nancy Keenan.
