Senator Jon Tester brought Montana school administrators together with the U.S. Secretary of Education. Tester, a former teacher and school board chairman, says he knows firsthand the challenges educators in Rural America face. Senator Tester wanted Secretary Arne Duncan to hear firsthand from Montanans about their concerns and experiences.

Senator Tester says the purpose of the meeting was to insure that Rural America has a voice at the table as new education policy is created in the next 2 years.
