Montana Republican Party Brings Ethics Complaint Against Schweitzer to Court

The Montana Republican party brought an ethics complaint against Governor Schweitzer to court this week.
Montana Republican Party chairman Will Deschamps argues that Governor Schweitzer effectively used the Political Practices fcommissioner to produce judgements in his favor. “The first one upheld our compaint.” says Deschamps speaking of the original judgement by Hearings Officer Bill Corbett, “He kept appointing commissioners until he found one that would side with him and that’s when we dedided ‘ok’ we’re going to go full bore into court.”
In March the current Political Practices Commissioner James Murray overturned the ruling, which led to the current lawsuit.
