The State of Montana will receive more than $22.4 million dollars from the Department of Transportation. The money is in response to last years record flooding and is intended to help repair the states weathered roads and bridges. The 22.4 million is on top of the 2.5 million dollars already directed towards flood relief in Montana back in November of 2011.

Montana Senator Jon Tester, claims the new influx of money will help by “putting Montanans to work,” and by repairing the “physical infrastructure our communities need.”
