The 2010-11 University of Montana women's basketball team performed one of the all-time great turnarounds in Lady Griz history. They were just 3-7 at the end of December, and 7-10 at the end of January. But from that point on, the Lady Griz went 9-3 to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

2 starters left via graduation (Sarah Ena, Steph Stender). Senior Jessa Loman Linford and freshman Lexie Nelson are also gone. Loman Linford graduated this past spring, while Nelson decided to transfer to Eastern Washington.

That said, Montana does return 3 starters who have all been playing since their freshman year (Katie Baker, Kenzie DeBoer and Alyssa Smith), and a number of key bench players as well.

Here's the projected starting 5:

PG  Torry Hill                      5-7   So.
SG  Kenzie DeBoer         5-11  Jr.
SF  Alyssa Smith              6-0    Jr.
PF  Katie Baker                  6-0   Jr.
C    Jordan Sullivan           6-2 So.

Here's how I think the bench will ultimately shape up:

F    Ali Hurley                           6-0  Jr.
F    Maggie Rickman               6-0  Fr.
F    Carly Selvig                        6-2   Fr.
G    Kellie Cole                          5-9   Fr.
G    Tianna Ware                     5-10  Sr.
G    Haley Vining                     5-7   Fr.
G    Hannah Doran                  5-11  Fr.
G    Nycole Devers                 5-7    So.
