Monday Accident Puts Mail SUV Upside Down in Lolo Creek [AUDIO]

An SUV driven by an unidentified postal carrier was involved in an accident that put the vehicle upside down in Lolo Creek on Monday afternoon.
Montana Highway Patrol trooper Adam Gane said the accident occurred when the Honda CR-V hit a rock in the road which flattened the right front tire, causing the vehicle to lose control and tip over the guardrail, down an embankment, and land upside down in Lolo Creek.
Gane said some passersby stopped and assisted the driver, who was wearing her seat belt, out of the vehicle and out of the creek.
She was taken to Missoula’s St. Patrick Hospital with minor injuries. The people who rescued her were not injured, returned to their vehicles and drove away.
