The weather is getting warmer and warmer and everyday more and more Missoulians are getting outside to enjoy life in western Montana. If you’re one of the many training for a marathon, biathlon or even a triathlon, then don’t miss the PEAK Missoula Triathlon, Saturday, May 19th.The PEAK’s Missoula Triathlon includes a 500 yard swim, a 12.4 mile bike ride and wraps up with a 3.1 mile run. The best part about this event is that proceeds benefit Fit to Fight; their mission to to empower cancer survivors by helping them get into an exercise routine.

If you’re like me and not much of an athlete (let alone a bi or triathlete) you can help by volunteering. Volunteers are needed to make this event a successful, as a volunteer you’ll receive a free tee and a chance to cheer on participants. You’ll only need to donate 3-4 hours of your time and volunteers are needed indoors and outdoors, standing and seated. To volunteer, call the Peak Health and Wellness Center at 406-251-3344 or email info@peaktri.com.
